ASCP Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist (Full-Time)Generalist

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Technologist to join our team at our state-of-the-art hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests and procedures to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information to healthcare providers.

MT / MLT Schedule: Night shift Monday - Thursday 10-hour shifts or Weekends Friday - Sunday 12-hour shifts ($7 differential)

MLT / MLS Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols and quality control standards
• Analyze and interpret test results, and report findings to healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records and documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment and procedures
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment and supplies
• Adhere to laboratory safety and infection control protocols

MLS / MLT Qualifications:

• Associates degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
• ASCP certification or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory
• Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations and quality control standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
