We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multimodality Technologist to join our team at [Hospital/Healthcare Facility Name] in Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and other modalities, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in multiple modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and potentially others, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes, ensuring comfort, and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure proper positioning of patients and equipment for optimal image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring all machines are functioning correctly and performing regular maintenance as needed.
  • Document patient information, procedures, and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety, infection control, and proper handling of contrast agents.
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess and interpret images, assisting in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain certifications for all modalities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in at least one modality (X-ray, CT, MRI), with additional certifications in other modalities preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, with proficiency in multiple modalities.
  • Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and informed.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging and documentation.
