Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in multiple modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and potentially others, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes, ensuring comfort, and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients and equipment for optimal image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring all machines are functioning correctly and performing regular maintenance as needed.
- Document patient information, procedures, and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety, infection control, and proper handling of contrast agents.
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess and interpret images, assisting in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain certifications for all modalities.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in at least one modality (X-ray, CT, MRI), with additional certifications in other modalities preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, with proficiency in multiple modalities.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and informed.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging and documentation.
