Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical examinations and in-depth medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab outcomes
• Partner with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential support during surgeries, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and skillfully passing surgical instruments
• Ensure outstanding pre- and post-operative care, covering areas such as medication administration, wound management, discharge strategies, and patient education

Education

• Master’s degree awarded by an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred background includes completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications include BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
