Medical Technologist - MT / MLT

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Collect and process samples, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Analyze test results, interpret findings, and communicate relevant information to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures, results, and quality control measures.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to troubleshoot issues and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Stay updated with advancements in medical technology and participate in continuing education programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) from a recognized accrediting agency.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and equipment.
• Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing laboratory results.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records.
