Position Overview

 

We are on the lookout for an empathetic and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral part of our imaging team and deliver outstanding patient-focused care. Description of Responsibilities

  • Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety, guiding them through each procedure with empathy and clarity
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of superior diagnostic images
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment accurately, promptly reporting any technical issues
  • Document procedures meticulously and uphold patient records within our electronic medical system
  • Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

 

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
  • CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

 

Certifications Required

  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

 

Skills Needed

  • Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
