Radiologic Technologist – Full-Time / Part-Time
We are currently seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our patient-centered imaging team in Iron River, Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, rural community surrounded by nature, while delivering high-quality diagnostic care using state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
Position Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic X-ray procedures in a safe and effective manner, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure accurate imaging and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations as ordered by physicians
- Operate imaging equipment including digital X-ray, C-arm, and portable units
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Accurately position patients and ensure proper exposure techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in the PACS and EMR systems
- Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Provide support for mobile and emergency imaging as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (R) certification required or eligibility to obtain
- Current or eligible Wisconsin Radiographer License
- BLS certification required
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
