Registered Nurse - (RN) - Special Care Nursery

We have been engaged by one of our clients to recruit a Registered Nurse (RN) for their growing team in the special care nursery. Qualifications:

• Current Compact or WA State RN License
• BSN, RN,C preferred
• Current (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required
• Must have ACLS and NRP within 60 days
• One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse required

Job Description:

• Able to assess patients quickly, prioritize, and assist in minor procedures.
• Manage patient check-in process, performance of triage work for doctors, and assisting with initial insurance paperwork.
• Communicate with doctors and patients to keep everyone updated on test results and treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel and report lab findings back to doctors.
• Demonstration of sound decision-making in emergency scenarios based on patient conditions such as vital signs, patient presentation, and assessments.
• Provide RN care for all patients, as well as handling of intubations, defibrillations, auto transfusions, Medlock insertions, splinting, and more.
