Surgical Technologist

In the heart of Tenino, Washington, a community where city life blends seamlessly with coastal charm, we’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our hospital-based surgical team. Here, every day is an opportunity to do work that truly matters—supporting patients through some of the most critical and transformative moments of their lives.

As a Surgical Tech, your mornings begin in the OR, making sure every instrument is perfectly placed, the surgical suite is fully prepped, and everything is ready for a smooth procedure. You take pride in creating a sterile, safe, and focused environment—because you know the small details make a big difference.

When surgery begins, you’re in the zone—passing instruments, anticipating the surgeon’s needs, and keeping the procedure moving with calm precision. You’re more than a support person—you’re an essential part of the team, ensuring patients receive the best possible care with every step. And once the procedure is complete, you help clean, sterilize, and reset the OR so that every patient receives the same level of excellence.

Throughout the day, you’re surrounded by a collaborative team of surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists who respect your expertise and value your voice. It’s a fast-paced environment, but one where people have your back—and where your work doesn’t go unnoticed.

And when the shift ends, Tenino offers the perfect way to unwind. From waterfront parks along the Puget Sound to trails in Dash Point State Park, or grabbing dinner in the nearby downtown, it’s a place where you can enjoy both natural beauty and modern convenience. Plus, with Seattle and Tacoma both just a short drive away, weekend adventures are always within reach.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Prior operating room experience is a plus—but new grads are welcome and will be supported by experienced mentors

Your Role Will Include:

  • Setting up surgical instruments and maintaining sterile fields
  • Assisting surgeons with tools, retractors, and supplies during procedures
  • Ensuring strict compliance with infection control practices
  • Helping turn over and prep operating rooms between cases
  • Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible scheduling and generous PTO to support your work-life balance
  • Opportunities for career advancement and continuing education
  • A tight-knit surgical team that values professionalism, support, and shared success
  • A community-focused workplace in Tenino, WA, offering great schools, beautiful parks, and proximity to both city life and nature

If you’re ready to take your surgical career to the next level in a place where your work has real impact—and where life outside the OR is just as fulfilling—we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and bring your skills to a team that’s as passionate about people as they are about precision. Your future starts here, in Tenino.
