We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patent care and serving as a resource in the therapy department.

Responsibilities:

• Assesses designated patients and formulates a treatment strategy and objectives by utilizing information from diverse outlets, including patient files, discussions, observations, and collaboration with colleagues
• Developing treatment plans to address a patient’s needs and help them meet specific goals
• Assessing a patient’s home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient’s needs and improve independence
• Training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment
• Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or high in Occupational Therapy or related discipline
• Current state License as an Occupational Therapist
• Current BLS certification
• One (1) year Pediatric experience in home health, acute care, or out-patient setting preferred
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) highly preferred
