Your Role in Patient Care

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing tailored care strategies, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, in conjunction with physicians or independently based on your qualifications
• Teaching patients and their families about health prevention, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in line with your scope of practice
• Being actively involved in chronic care management and patient follow-up
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and integrated care
• Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Required Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Washington
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or comparable specialty designation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
