As a part of our team, you'll be engaged in a variety of fulfilling tasks that include: - Conducting comprehensive evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient settings, and crafting personalized treatment plans to meet their unique needs. - Applying evidence-based physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. - Collaborating with an array of professionals—including nurses, physicians, and rehabilitation specialists—to ensure optimal care and outcomes for every patient. - Educating patients and their families about therapies, discharge planning, and helpful exercises to conduct at home. - Diligently documenting evaluations and treatment progress in adherence with regulatory standards and facility guidelines. - Participating actively in interdisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to uphold a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care. To qualify for this role, we require: - A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution. Additionally, you should hold: - A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist. - CPR certification, preferred but not mandatory. - Specialized certifications in areas such as neurology or geriatrics are welcomed, but not essential. Ideal candidates will possess: - Proven experience in physical therapy is significantly advantageous. - A capacity to manage complex medical and mobility challenges in patients. - Strong communication and teamwork skills that enable effective collaboration. - A comfort level with digital charting and clinical documentation systems.
