MLR is seeking a skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a medical-surgical (Med/Surg) unit, typically serving patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, or those managing chronic conditions. The role involves a combination of clinical expertise, patient assessment, communication, and care coordination to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care during their hospitalization.

Requirements:
 

• A current registered nursing license in Idaho
• Current BLS, ACLS certification required

• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

• The ability to listen and understand information and ideas quickly

Responsibilities
 

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
