Job Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical assessments and thorough reviews of their medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through adept interpretation of lab results and imaging studies
• Partner with surgeons to develop and implement personalized patient surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential support during operations, from preparing surgical rooms to ensuring correct patient positioning and instrument handling
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, such as administering medications, managing wound care, assisting in discharge processes, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with surgical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
