Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager

Location: Onsite

Shift Schedule: 7AM-4PM (Flex) Primarily evening shifts, with the option of 5 (8-hour) shifts Monday to Friday or a flexible 4 (10-hour) shift schedule. Weekend on-call rotation required.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or charge/lead role in a hospital.
• Active RN license in good standing in the state of Washington.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and coordination of nursing staff and patient care activities within the hospital. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and providing leadership to nursing staff on the evening shift.
• Collaborating with the Nurse Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
• Participating in staff education and training programs.
• Monitoring and evaluating patient outcomes and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Assisting with scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
• Handling administrative tasks related to nursing units.
• Providing support during on-call rotations on weekends.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital.
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or charge/lead role within a hospital setting.
• Active RN license in good standing in the state of Washington.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification.
