Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMT

 

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our dynamic diagnostic imaging team in Rochester, WA. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and collaborating with physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic care to our patients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established safety standards and protocols
  • Operate nuclear imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners
  • Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac, bone, thyroid, and renal imaging
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures
  • Educate and comfort patients during procedures, providing information and support throughout the process
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Certification or certification-eligible through ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
  • BLS certification required
  • In-depth knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging protocols, radiopharmaceutical handling, and radiation safety practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in nuclear medicine preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
