Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our client's team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to help patients regain movement and manage pain. Your responsibilities will include assisting with exercises, providing therapeutic treatments, and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Assisting patients with exercises and stretches to improve mobility and strength.
  • Administering therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
  • Educating patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques.
  • Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborating with the physical therapy team to develop individualized treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • An Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Washington.
  • CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassion and empathy for patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic modalities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
