Manager of Rehabilitation and Fitness

We are seeking a Manager of Rehabilitation for a vibrant and expanding nonprofit public hospital district serving east Grays Harbor County, Washington. The hospital operates three locations comprised of a critical access hospital, primary care clinics, an urgent care clinic, and a range of ancillary and specialty services. The Manager of Rehabilitation and Fitness will be responsible for leading therapy staff in developing and maintaining a state-of-the-art health and wellness-focused therapy services program. The ideal candidate will work closely with primary care and ancillary services staff as part of an integrated model of care that supports community health and wellness.

Responsibilities:

• Manage therapy (PT, OT, Speech, Nutrition, Cardiac Rehab) & fitness services to ensure consistent delivery of quality patient-centered care and efficient operations in support of hospital goals and objectives.
• Identify needs and opportunities for therapy and fitness programming to support the district's mission and vision.
• Develop and implement clinical services and programs, patient-care protocols, standards of care, financial performance, and related policies and procedures in all assigned areas.
• Monitor outcomes, identify opportunities/gaps, and initiate appropriate enhancements and/or corrections.
• Lead research, development, design and implementation of non-clinical and retail services/programs from ideation through implementation.
• Optimize the use of therapy and gym space for both patient care and fitness services.
• Work with the Marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and materials.
• Pursue new business partnerships/opportunities to supplement programming.
• Develop comprehensive business plans, forecasts, and models.
• Deliver high-quality care within the scope of licensure meeting licensing and credentialing requirements.
• Engage with both internal and external partners to advance the hospital's mission and vision.
• Participate in professional groups/associations.
• Participate in or lead work groups, projects, and committees as assigned.
• Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Five or more years of professional-level experience; inpatient and outpatient experience preferred.
• Business/program development experience preferred.
• Current and unrestricted WA State PT or OT License.
• BLS Certification required within 3 months of hire.
