Position Summary/Purpose:  

We are excited to announce an opening for a highly skilled and motivated Dual Modality CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This unique role offers the opportunity to utilize both CT and X-ray modalities, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum Education: 
    • Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology 
  • Required Certification / Licensure: 
    • State licensure that permits them to perform diagnostic CT exams and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.
    • Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.
    • Certification in nuclear medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams.
    • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. 
  • Required Experience: 
    • One (1) year of radiologic/imaging experience.
    • Must be certified in the CT registry within one year of hire.
    • Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
    • Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
    • Proficiency with most major CT/X-Ray equipment, manufacturer's hardware, and software (GE, Siemens, Toshiba).
  • Preferred Qualifications: 
    • A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.
    • Prefer specific experience and training in CT.
