We have been engaged by one of our clients in the region to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist Manager to join their growing healthcare team. As a Physical Therapist Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our client's physical therapy department, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring the highest level of clinical quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the therapy staff (PT, OT, Speech, Nutrition, and Cardiac Rehab), including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements related to physical therapy services.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and programs for patients with musculoskeletal or neurological conditions, and monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and develop interdisciplinary treatment plans.
  • Evaluate and analyze the department's financial and operational performance and implement strategies to increase efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide regular reports to senior management on departmental activities and outcomes.
  • Participate in continuing education activities to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in physical therapy and healthcare.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A current Washington state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in physical therapy practice, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Knowledge of clinical quality standards and regulatory requirements related to physical therapy services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive work environment.
