MLR is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our client’s esteemed healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform a range of cardiopulmonary and respiratory care procedures, contributing to optimal patient outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert respiratory care, including administering therapeutic treatments and conducting thorough patient assessments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create and implement customized patient care plans.
  • Utilize advanced respiratory care techniques and equipment to support patient recovery and improve overall outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, along with hospital policies and protocols.
  • Engage in continuous education and training to remain updated on the latest advancements in respiratory care practices and technologies.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Education: An Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program is required.
  • Licensure: A valid and unrestricted license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Washington is essential.
  • Experience: Clinical experience in respiratory care is preferred but not mandatory.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials are necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on patient care and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Capability to access all patient care areas and complete required respiratory care competencies.
  • Proficiency with relevant hardware, software, and computer tools essential to respiratory care.
