Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)

A leading acute care hospital in the Yakima region is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join its night shift team. This is a great opportunity for both experienced therapists and recent graduates to work in a collaborative, fast-paced setting that emphasizes clinical excellence and team support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Perform arterial blood gases and pulmonary function testing
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatments accordingly
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and home techniques
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams across departments
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow hospital safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in respiratory care
• Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligible)
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within six months
• Previous acute care experience preferred, but not required
