Shift: Full Time, No Weekends, 7 am - 4 pm


Overview: MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join an esteemed healthcare team in South Vermont. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations in addition to identifying and communicating clinical findings to radiologists. Your expertise will contribute to accurate patient diagnoses and treatment planning, ensuring exceptional patient care and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Position patients correctly and apply ultrasound gel to obtain clear images of the targeted area.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images and videos for diagnostic purposes.
  • Evaluate images for quality, ensuring they meet diagnostic criteria and documenting findings accurately.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and assist in patient diagnosis.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, safety protocols, and departmental policies.


  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS Board certification required
  • ARRT (R) and Vermont State Radiologic Technician license is a plus. 
  • College coursework guided towards ARDMS Board certification and prior hands-on clinical ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
