Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, which entail both physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in analyzing and diagnosing surgical conditions based on imaging studies and lab results

• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education Requirements

• A Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical procedures

Certifications Required

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
