Position Overview

• Guarantee patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure that high-quality diagnostic images are achieved
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring any issues are reported swiftly
• Provide accurate documentation of procedures and maintain thorough patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed of evolving ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
