Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, managing physical exams and reviewing comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to create and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Offer intraoperative assistance, preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, caring for wounds, planning for discharge, and educating patients

Qualifications Required

• Master’s degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations that focus on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
