Laboratory Supervisor – MT

**Must be ASCP certified**

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Technologist looking to grow within their career and join our team as a Laboratory Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the daily operations of a laboratory section, ensuring that high-quality patient care is provided through accurate and timely diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise laboratory staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Oversee and coordinate daily laboratory operations, including sample processing, testing, and result reporting
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality control standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and ensure accurate test results
  • Maintain inventory and ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with other laboratory sections and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory
  • ASCP certification or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of laboratory regulations and quality control standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
