Job Description

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Evaluate patients' needs and devise tailored therapy approaches to support them in reaching their rehabilitation milestones.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-based strategies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multifaceted Teams: Work closely alongside other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure all-encompassing, patient-centered care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapy methods to enable continued progress outside of the clinical setting.
• Assess and Record Advancement: Monitor clinical results and adapt therapy plans as necessary, ensuring every patient remains on their path to success.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
