Position Overview:

In this vital role, your expertise will be crucial in delivering outstanding patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes for those you serve. You will play a key role in assessing patient needs, coordinating care, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams to provide the highest level of support and treatment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical and emotional health.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and diagnoses.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and accuracy.
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, identifying any changes or concerns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and treatments.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Infection Control: Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for patients’ rights and needs, providing support and guidance throughout their care.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing.

Qualifications: 

  • Education: 
    • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher. 
  • Certifications:
    • Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Licensure: 
    • Basic Life Support (BLS).
      Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Experience: 
    • At least 1 year of experience working as an RN.
