Responsibilities:
As a vital part of the clinical team, the Respiratory Therapist will deliver routine and emergency care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, managing ventilator support, delivering nebulizer and oxygen therapy, and educating patients and families on treatment plans. This hands-on role directly impacts patient outcomes across the hospital’s emergency department, inpatient units, and outpatient services.
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a current Utah Respiratory Care Practitioner license and be credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, while ACLS, PALS, and NRP are strongly preferred or must be obtained upon hire. While prior hospital experience is helpful, new graduates are welcome and will be supported as they gain clinical experience in a team-focused environment.
