Acute Care RN
MLR is collaborating with a respected healthcare system to recruit a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Critical Care Unit (CCU/ICU). This full-time, permanent position provides a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and skilled nurse to deliver exceptional care to critically ill adolescent and adult patients. The role involves managing complex medical conditions, utilizing advanced therapeutic equipment, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide personalized care to critically ill patients, performing life-saving interventions and ongoing support.
- Monitoring & Assessment: Conduct detailed assessments, continuously monitor patient conditions, and apply appropriate interventions to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans and support patient recovery.
- Standards of Care: Follow the Texas Nurse Practice Act, uphold professional nursing standards, and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Acute Care RN Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR-BCLS certification required before the end of orientation.
- ACLS certification required before the end of orientation.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required before the end of orientation.
