Acute Radiation Therapist

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is actively seeking a full-time, permanent Radiation Therapist to join a committed team at a reputable acute-care hospital in Texas. In this role, you will deliver radiation therapy treatments while adhering to established protocols for both therapeutic and diagnostic purposes.

Salary: $58,462 - $93,387 annually

Core Responsibilities:

• Radiation Therapy Administration: Provide tailored radiation treatments to patients, working closely with the oncology team to ensure exceptional care.
• Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Patient Interaction: Educate patients about the radiation therapy process, address their concerns, and provide reassurance throughout their treatment journey.
• Treatment Delivery: Execute radiation therapy in accordance with individualized treatment plans designed for each patient's specific needs.

Qualifications:

• ARRT Certification: Must possess certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• MRT Certification: Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board.
• CPR/BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Texas Radiologic Technologist License: Must be valid and in good standing.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in operating linear accelerators, CT scanners, and related computer systems.
