ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist
MLR is partnering with a respected healthcare facility just west of Katy, Texas, to hire a dedicated ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist. This full-time position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technologist to provide advanced diagnostic imaging services and exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ultrasound Imaging: Perform comprehensive ultrasound exams in multiple areas including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts.
- Patient Interaction: Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort while explaining procedures in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Collaboration: Work with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and deliver precise diagnostic information.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Documentation: Accurately input patient data and imaging results into the electronic health record (EHR) system.
ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification: Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in specialties such as abdominal, OB/GYN, or vascular.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in operating ultrasound equipment and EHR systems.
