Our client's Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) is at the forefront of cutting-edge diagnostic and interventional procedures. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join their dynamic team.

Job Summary: As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, you will play a vital role in assisting cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of the Cath Lab, providing high-quality care to our patients and supporting our mission to improve cardiovascular health. Your role is not just important, it's integral to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procedure Assistance: Prepare and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, and electrophysiology studies.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain specialized Cath Lab equipment, including fluoroscopy systems, cardiac monitors, and hemostatic devices.
• Patient Care: Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Monitor vital signs and respond to any changes in patient condition during procedures.
• Collaboration: You'll work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a team that values your input and expertise. Together, we ensure optimal patient outcomes and effective teamwork. Documentation: Accurately document procedures, patient information, and equipment usage in electronic medical records and reports.
• Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Current certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (e.g., RCIS or RCES) preferred.
• Education: Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar setting.
• Skills: Proficiency in operating Cath Lab equipment, excellent technical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
