Acute Clinical Pharmacist - Full Time
MLR is looking for a full-time, permanent Pharmacist to join our client’s expanding healthcare team, where you can play a key role in advancing patient care!
Key Responsibilities for Pharmacist:
- Dispense medications with accuracy, providing expert advice on safe and effective use.
- Full-time, direct-hire position within an inpatient hospital setting.
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accurate and safe delivery of medications.
- Manage medication therapy by educating patients on drug interactions, side effects, and correct usage.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Keep detailed records of dispensed medications, patient profiles, and insurance details.
Requirements for Pharmacist:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) from an accredited pharmacy program.
- Active Pharmacist license in New Mexico.
- BLS certification required.
- Preferred: BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist) or BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist).
- PGY1 Residency in a hospital setting is a plus.
