Acute Clinical Pharmacist - Full Time

 

MLR is looking for a full-time, permanent Pharmacist to join our client’s expanding healthcare team, where you can play a key role in advancing patient care!

 

Key Responsibilities for Pharmacist:

  • Dispense medications with accuracy, providing expert advice on safe and effective use.
  • Full-time, direct-hire position within an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accurate and safe delivery of medications.
  • Manage medication therapy by educating patients on drug interactions, side effects, and correct usage.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to support optimal patient outcomes.
  • Keep detailed records of dispensed medications, patient profiles, and insurance details.

Requirements for Pharmacist:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Active Pharmacist license in New Mexico.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Preferred: BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist) or BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist).
  • PGY1 Residency in a hospital setting is a plus.
