Acute Clinical Pharmacist - Full Time

 

MLR is actively seeking a full-time, permanent Pharmacist to join our client's growing healthcare team and make a meaningful difference in patient care!

 

Pharmacist Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications and offer expert advice on their safe and effective use.
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire role in an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Thoroughly review and interpret physicians' prescriptions, ensuring accurate and safe medication delivery.
  • Provide medication therapy management, educating patients on drug interactions, potential side effects, and proper usage.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including doctors and nurses, to support positive patient outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all dispensed medications, patient profiles, and insurance-related documentation.

Pharmacist Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy program (PharmD or RPh).
  • Active New Mexico Pharmacist license required.
  • BLS certification required. 
  • BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist), BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist) preferred. 
  • PGY 1 Residency in hospital preferred.
