Acute Clinical Pharmacist - Full Time
MLR is actively seeking a full-time, permanent Pharmacist to join our client's growing healthcare team and make a meaningful difference in patient care!
Pharmacist Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications and offer expert advice on their safe and effective use.
- This is a full-time, direct-hire role in an inpatient hospital setting.
- Thoroughly review and interpret physicians' prescriptions, ensuring accurate and safe medication delivery.
- Provide medication therapy management, educating patients on drug interactions, potential side effects, and proper usage.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including doctors and nurses, to support positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous records of all dispensed medications, patient profiles, and insurance-related documentation.
Pharmacist Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy program (PharmD or RPh).
- Active New Mexico Pharmacist license required.
- BLS certification required.
- BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist), BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist) preferred.
- PGY 1 Residency in hospital preferred.
