Radiation Therapist

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent Radiation Therapist to join a dedicated team at a prestigious acute-care hospital in Texas. In this role, you will provide professional radiation therapy services, adhering to established clinical guidelines to administer treatments for both therapeutic and diagnostic purposes.

Salary: $58,462 - $93,387 annually

Primary Responsibilities:

• Treatment Administration: Deliver personalized radiation therapy treatments in close collaboration with the oncology team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.
• Patient Education: Inform and guide patients throughout the treatment process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Implementation of Therapy: Execute radiation treatments based on individualized treatment plans tailored for each patient.

Qualifications:

• ARRT Certification: Must hold certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Texas Medical Board MRT Certification: Required.
• CPR-BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification is necessary.
• Licensure: Must possess a valid Radiologic Technologist license in Texas.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in operating linear accelerators, CT scanners, and related computer systems.
