Responsibilities for a Cytologist:

• Perform microscopic examination of gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens.
• Identify and classify abnormal cells and cellular abnormalities.
• Collaborate with pathologists to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to quality control and assurance procedures.

Cytologist Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field.
• ASCP certification in Medical Lab Science or Cytotechnology.
• 1+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
