MLR is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our client's healthcare team in Texas. This vital role involves providing high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, promoting wellness, and managing acute and chronic conditions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring a patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  • Manage and treat acute and chronic illnesses, prescribing medications, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinical guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of healthcare protocols and best practices.
  • Stay current with the latest medical advancements, treatments, and technologies in family medicine.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Program. Bachelor's Degree in the heath care field is highly desirable
  • AAPA certification as a Nurse Practitioner 
  • Texas License by the Board of Nursing as Nurse Practitioner
