MLR is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our client's healthcare team in Texas. This vital role involves providing high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, promoting wellness, and managing acute and chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring a patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Manage and treat acute and chronic illnesses, prescribing medications, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of healthcare protocols and best practices.
- Stay current with the latest medical advancements, treatments, and technologies in family medicine.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Program. Bachelor's Degree in the heath care field is highly desirable
- AAPA certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Texas License by the Board of Nursing as Nurse Practitioner
