MLR (MLee Recruiting) is on the lookout for a committed Ultrasound Technologist to join a highly skilled team in a full-time, permanent position at a respected acute-care hospital near Brownwood, Texas!

Salary: $61,768 - $85,429 annually

Work Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM

Primary Responsibilities:

• Patient Positioning: Safely prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
• Equipment Operation: Skillfully operate ultrasound machines to capture high-quality images of internal structures and organs.
• Image Assessment: Review and analyze ultrasound images to aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans.
• Record Keeping: Maintain precise documentation of patient information, procedures conducted, and diagnostic results.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare professionals to assess imaging results and enhance patient care.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment, promptly resolving any technical issues.
• Patient Communication: Clearly explain procedures to patients, address their questions, and provide post-exam care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• ARRT or ARDMS certification required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) or ARDMS.
• Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care and discretion.
