Clinical Therapist 

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a dedicated Clinical Therapist for a full-time, permanent position at a reputable acute-care hospital near Abilene, Texas. Join a compassionate team committed to delivering high-quality mental health care!

Salary: $74,500 - $97,358 per year

Primary Responsibilities:

• Client Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental and emotional well-being, providing accurate diagnoses using standard clinical practices.
• Work Schedule: Night shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Develop Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
• Facilitate Therapy: Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

Qualifications:

• Texas State License in Respiratory Care: Required.
• NBRC Status: Maintain active certification with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) through the Continuing Competency Program (CCP).
• Credentialing: New graduates must obtain CRT credentials and pursue RRT certification within one year. If not achieved, the therapist will transition to a Respiratory Care Practitioner role until the RRT credential is obtained.
• BLS Certification: Must be secured before patient interaction.
• ACLS Certification: Required within six months of employment.
• ENPC or PALS Certification: Must be completed within one year.
• NRP Certification: Required within the first year.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in data entry and proficient in using computer systems.
• Workplace Safety: Ensure compliance with OSHA and NIOSH safety standards.
