Position Summary:
As an CST or LVN, you will play a vital role in providing patient care, collaborating with the surgical team, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This position involves a variety of responsibilities in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with routine medical procedures and examinations.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
• Provide health education to patients and their families.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care protocols.

Licensed Vocational Nurse Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or a graduate of a Licensed Vocational Nurse program
• Current Texas License to practice vocational nursing, or CST certification required
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques (This facility will train LVNs with no surgical experience)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
