CT Tech Qualifications:
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- RT(R)(CT) preferred but not strictly required if experienced
- Current BLS Certification
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
CT Tech Responsibilities:
- Provide imaging services, including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging services
- Perform specialized imaging techniques with fluoroscopic guidance
- Assist the Radiologist when appropriate
