ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist
MLR is collaborating with a prominent healthcare system to find a full-time ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This role operates during standard day shifts, Monday through Friday, in a state-of-the-art environment. Position Overview:
- Full-time, permanent, direct hire position.
- Perform clinical diagnostic nuclear medicine tests, including general, cardiac, and therapeutic studies.
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment and manage computer systems for accurate imaging and diagnosis.
ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program.
- At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid Texas Medical Board MRT license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of nuclear medicine.
- Proficient in starting intravenous lines (IVs).
- Familiar with EKGs and stress testing systems.
- Ability to perform injections for pharmacologic testing.
