Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Preparing the operating room for surgeries, ensuring that everything is in order and sterile
• Maintaining safety standards by upholding infection control protocols
• Carefully handing instruments and supplies to surgical teams during procedures
• Managing surgical instruments and equipment throughout each operation
• Ensuring that surgical supplies are continuously stocked and ready
• Collaborating effectively with nurses, and anesthesiologists, and contributing to team efforts
• Accurately documenting surgical procedures and maintaining counts

Essential Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology training program
• High school diploma or equivalent is required

Certifications Needed:

• Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is a must
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire)
