We are currently hiring a compassionate and skilled individual at an oncology clinic in the South Texas area. The ideal candidate will be responsible and proficient in performing PET-CT imaging tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.

*$15,000.00 Sign-on Bonus*

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for PET-CT exams, ensuring their comfort, explaining the procedure, and answering their questions.
• Operate and maintain PET-CT equipment, capturing images of the patient's body, and performing quality control checks on the images.
• Analyze PET-CT images to identify any abnormalities or potential medical conditions, and collaborate with radiologists and physicians to communicate findings.
• Record and maintain accurate patient information and imaging records, and adhere to medical and legal record-keeping requirements.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols, ensuring the safe use of radioactive materials, and monitoring radiation exposure levels.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Additional certification in PET-CT imaging
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations
• Ability to operate and maintain PET-CT equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
