MLR is looking for a certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) to join our client's esteemed laboratory team. As an ASCP-certified MLT/MT, you will be responsible for performing essential laboratory tests and procedures, playing a key role in patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities for an MLT/MT:

• Perform a range of laboratory tests, including those in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology, with precision and attention to detail.
• Analyze test results and provide timely and accurate reports to healthcare providers.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring routine calibrations and addressing technical issues as they arise.
• Adhere to strict quality control procedures and regulatory standards to uphold the highest laboratory integrity.
• Document and record test results accurately in the laboratory information system (LIS).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver critical data that aids in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory practices and engage in ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT).
• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
