ARRT Radiologic Technologist

MLR is seeking a dedicated and ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist to join our client’s healthcare team in Texas. In this critical role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures that are essential to patient care, ensuring high-quality and accurate results.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy, following physician instructions and established protocols.
  • Ensure precise patient positioning and use of equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, troubleshooting and reporting any issues to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and practices, ensuring protection for patients, colleagues, and yourself.
  • Review and evaluate images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic value, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely and accurate imaging results.
  • Participate in quality control activities and stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and procedures.
  • Provide compassionate care, communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and ease any concerns.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
  • Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • Texas state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
