Job Description: As a CRNA, you will be crucial in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to a diverse patient population. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal anesthesia management and patient safety.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical and diagnostic procedures.
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient history, physical examination, and risk evaluation.
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
  • Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period, adjusting anesthesia to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and manage any complications that arise.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal anesthesia care and ensure a smooth perioperative experience.
  • Document all anesthesia-related procedures and patient responses accurately and comprehensively.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain knowledge of anesthesia practices and advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Valid Texas state RN license and CRNA license.
  • Proven experience as a CRNA or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and proficiency in administering a range of anesthetic agents and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
