Job Responsibilities

  • Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy programs designed to help them achieve their daily functional goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize proven methods to strengthen patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities.
  • Collaborate with Multifunctional Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about therapeutic practices to encourage continuous improvement at home.
  • Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure they stay aligned with goals.

 

Education and Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
  • Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported

 

Certifications

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
