One of our clients in the region has engaged us to recruit a Chief Compliance Officer to join their growing team.

As the Chief Compliance Officer, you will be critical in maintaining and enhancing the hospital's commitment to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive compliance program that includes policies, procedures, and training to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (must be obtained within two years of hire)
• Certification in Healthcare Privacy Compliance required (must be obtained within two years of hire)
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Healthcare Related Field or comparable years of experience with healthcare compliance and risk management required.
• Experience with Joint Commission surveys
• Experience in managing a compliance program.
• Experience as a Privacy
• Experience in Risk Management and in contract review.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures while also providing guidance/training to staff on compliance matters.
• Monitor and assess compliance risks and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate compliance violations and report findings to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance in all areas.
• Promote a culture of ethics and integrity throughout the organization.
