MLR (MLee Recruiting) is looking for a full-time, permanent Occupational Therapist to join a committed team at a reputable acute-care hospital near Brownwood, Texas.

Salary: $77,700 - $104,730 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Evaluations: Perform comprehensive assessments to determine clients' functional abilities and needs through interviews, observations, and standardized tests.
• Work Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with one Saturday shift each month.
• Treatment Plan Development: Design personalized treatment plans focused on enhancing fine motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
• Therapeutic Techniques: Implement therapeutic methods, including exercises, adaptive equipment, and environmental adjustments, to support clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborative Care: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy: Required.
• Experience: No prior experience needed.
• Licensure: Must be licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• CPR Certification: Current certification required.
• Driver’s License: A valid Texas Driver’s License is necessary only for those designated as HMC Designated Drivers.
• Designated Driver Status: Yes.
• OSHA Category: 2 - Moderate Risk.
